This tour combines the highlights of the city with the beautiful scenery of the lake district where you have the option to take a boat ride on the Wolfgangsee and you can even crown your Highlights Tour with a train ride up the Schafberg mountain (May 1st until October 26th) from where, on a clear day, there is a 360° panoramic view over the glittering lakes of the Salzkammergut (e.g. Wolfgangsee, Irrsee, Mondsee and Fuschlsee) to the Chiemsee lake in Germany in the foothills of the Alps.
